Overview: DentiQ Dental Clinic required a modern and trustworthy website that helps visitors quickly understand services and easily book appointments. In healthcare, a website plays a key role in shaping the first impression and building patient confidence. The objective of this project was to design a clean, user-friendly experience that builds trust and allows visitors to contact the clinic or book appointments quickly through phone, WhatsApp, or a simple appointment flow.

PROBLEM

Many dental clinic websites fail to convert visitors into patients due to poor usability and lack of trust signals. Research showed common issues such as confusing navigation, difficulty finding treatment information, and complicated appointment processes. These problems reduce user confidence and often prevent visitors from contacting the clinic. For healthcare websites, the interface must not only provide information but also build trust for patients considering booking an appointment.

SOLUTION

The solution focused on creating a simple, trust-driven website experience that makes it easy for visitors to understand the clinic and take action. The design prioritizes clear navigation, well-structured treatment sections, and quick contact options such as phone, WhatsApp, and appointment booking. The main goal was to deliver the best and easiest experience for patients, allowing them to contact the clinic and book appointments as quickly and effortlessly as possible.

PHASE I
RESEARCH

Research & Problem Understanding

The first phase focused on understanding the current landscape of dental clinic websites and identifying usability gaps that affect patient experience. I explored several leading dental clinic websites to study how they structure information, present services, and guide users toward booking appointments.

In addition to design analysis, I also reviewed user feedback and online reviews where patients expressed dissatisfaction with clinic websites due to poor usability. Many users reported confusion caused by cluttered layouts, difficulty locating booking options, and unclear service explanations.

This research helped reveal that patients visiting a dental clinic website typically want three things quickly: clear information about treatments, confidence in the clinic’s credibility, and a simple way to contact the hospital. These insights helped define the design direction for the project, focusing on simplicity, trust, and fast accessibility.

PHASE II
EXPLORATIONS

UX Structure, IA and Wireframes

After identifying the core usability problems, the next phase focused on defining the website’s structure and information flow. I analyzed ten well-designed dental clinic websites to understand how successful platforms organize services, navigation, and booking flows.

To accelerate the structuring process, I used ChatGPT as an AI-assisted design tool. I provided references from these top dental websites along with my own UX improvement ideas. Based on this input, ChatGPT helped generate an optimized website structure and medium-fidelity wireframes that defined the core layout and information hierarchy.

This process helped establish the main page hierarchy, treatment categorization, navigation flow, and placement of key call-to-action elements such as appointment booking and contact options. The goal of this phase was to create a clear and logical information architecture that allows patients to easily explore services and quickly move toward booking an appointment.

PHASE III
UI

UI Design & Implementation

In the final phase, the structured wireframes were translated into a high-fidelity user interface and implemented using Framer. The design focused on creating a clean and professional visual language suitable for a healthcare environment.

The interface emphasizes readability, structured spacing, and a calm visual design to build trust for visitors. Clear typography and simple layouts were used to ensure information is easy to scan and understand.

Special attention was given to accessibility and quick communication. Prominent call-to-action elements were integrated across the website, enabling users to easily book appointments or contact the clinic through phone calls and WhatsApp.

Once the interface design was completed, the website was fully built in Framer with responsive layouts to ensure smooth usability across devices. After testing responsiveness and interactions, the website was published and handed over to the client for live deployment.
